Fook Ten is a Chartered Accountant with prior experience at Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn. Bhd., where he spent three years providing management consulting services to large corporate clients across the banking, insurance, asset management, and oil & gas sectors. His work includes serving in the project management office for the successful implementation of a new Portfolio Management System at a regional asset management company; co-developing business requirement document detailing target solution architecture, functional areas, and workflow illustrations to guide technology implementation; and conducting independent review of fixed income transactions for cross trade at a leading asset management firm.
Driven by a passion for the law, he transitioned from management consulting to legal practice. He was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2023 after completing his pupillage in Messrs J.M. Chong, Vincent Chee & Co., where he mainly assisted in corporate loan documentation. He then established his own legal practice under Messrs Ter & Partners before joining Messrs Zhen, Teo & Co. as a Partner in March 2025.

acted for two local companies in the sale and leaseback of two commercial warehouse facilities to a Malaysian-listed REIT with a combined consideration of over RM158,000,000.00, advising on terms and documentation, ensuring a well-structed and commercially beneficial transaction.
acted for a local company on the acquisition of an industrial land for a consideration over RM110,000,000.00, involving obtaining approval from Economic Planning Unit (“EPU”).
acted for individuals and companies in various matters including sale and purchase of residential, commercial, agriculture and industrial properties, love and affection transfers, discharge of charge / receipt and reassignment (including filing to SSM and/or High Court), and tenancy agreements.
acted for a local logistics company in reviewing and advising the terms of a long-term third-party logistics service agreement with one of the world’s largest food and beverage companies, ensuring the contract accurately reflected the intended pricing mechanism while mitigating potential liability exposure and safeguarding commercial viability.
assisted a local company in reviewing and advising the terms of a Share Purchase Agreement, ensuring the agreement accurately reflected the client’s commercial intentions, safeguarded their legal position, and comprehensively addressed concerns raised during negotiations.
